On August 22 and August 23, AMCHAM Myanmar took part in the two-day Digital Economy Forum, which was supported by USAID’s Digital Asia Accelerator, in partnership with MangoTango Asia in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

On August 10, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted a special members-only networking evening at Novotel Yangon Max debriefing members of our recent trip to Washington DC on the AAP 2023 DoorKnock delegation.

On June 24, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted its Second Annual Independence Day Celebration & Community Picnic event at The American Club (AERA) Rangoon which was well attended by over 250 participants.

On June 27, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted the sixth round of special security briefing series, featuring expert conflict and security speaker, our very own President and Managing Director of ATALIAN Global Services Myanmar Adam Castillo and Senior Manager of US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) Jack Myint.

On June 21, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted a special roundtable discussion on the upcoming FATF plenaries that will take place in June and October.

On May 25, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted our first social event of the AMCHAM new year at Shwe Sa Bwe to introduce our new executive director, Danny Kyaw, and our new Board of Governors elected at the AGM to our members.

The new Executive Director, Danny Kyaw, met with various chamber’s members and U.S. Embassy colleagues in Yangon as well as in Bangkok, during his first 30 days with AMCHAM Myanmar.
