AMCHAM MYANMAR’S COMMITMENT TO WOMEN’S HEALTH AND HEALTH EDUCATION
On March 8, AMCHAM Myanmar proudly hosted its second annual event dedicated to International Women’s Day, themed:
“Accelerate Action: Empowering Women for a Stronger Future.”
This flagship event was a powerful affirmation of AMCHAM’s ongoing commitment to women’s health, healthcare access, and health education—core pillars for ensuring equity and empowerment in Myanmar’s business and social landscapes.
Held at our valued Silver Corporate Partner, Novotel Yangon Max, the event featured a dynamic program of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and a bustling expo area focused on women’s wellness, career development, and personal growth.
We were honored to welcome Chargé d’affaires Susan N. Stevenson of the U.S. Embassy in Rangoon, Burma, as our keynote speaker. In addition, three of our AMCHAM Myanmar Social Impact Donation (SID) Fund awardees participated in a panel discussion to share their CSR initiatives surrounding women’s health and explore the role of business in driving social change throughout Myanmar.
