Round Table Discussion with Ambassador Derek Mitchell

On August 28, members of AMCHAM Myanmar gathered at Chatrium Royal Lake Yangon for a round table discussion with former U.S. Ambassador to Myanmar, the Honorable Derek Mitchell. Ambassador Mitchell shared with the participants his findings and observations on Myanmar's ongoing politics and economics reforms based on his ten-day trip. The discussion was followed by a Q&A session, when participants raised concerns and questions on both Myanmar and U.S. governments' respective policies impacting foreign businesses in Myanmar.
