Quarterly Briefing

On August 13, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted our quarterly briefing with the U.S. Embassy. We thank our special guest speakers Mr. George Sibley, Charge d'Affaires, Ms. Gwen Cardno, Incoming Deputy Chief of Mission, and Mr. Long Nguyen, Consular Chief, for sharing insights on the economic and political environment in Myanmar and for taking questions from the participants. We also recognize and thank Mr. George Sibley for his many years of service as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy. We will miss him greatly upon his departure and we wish him the best of luck on his next assignment. We also would like to officially welcome Ms. Gwen Cardno as our new Deputy Chief of Mission.
