THE NINTH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND CELEBRATION NETWORKING

AMCHAM Myanmar successfully hosted its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 29 at our valued Gold Corporate Partner Meliá Yangon, bringing together members for an important evening of reflection, governance, and community engagement.

The evening featured special remarks by Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Doug Sonnek, who shared perspectives with the membership, followed by presentations on chamber activities and achievements, policy engagement, member relations, governance, financial performance, and strategic outlook for the coming year. Members also reviewed and approved key governance matters, including the Annual Report, audited financial statements, auditor appointment and remuneration, and voted on proposed constitutional changes.

AMCHAM Myanmar was also pleased to recognize and acknowledge the valuable contributions of our committee co-chairs for their leadership and dedication throughout the year. We extend our sincere appreciation to all members who participated in the AGM and exercised their role in strengthening the Chamber’s governance and direction.
