Luncheon with Treasury Asst Secretary

On August 2, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted a welcoming luncheon for Treasury Assistant Secretary Daniel Glaser at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon. The luncheon was presided over by the U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Kristen Bauer. It was also attended by fifteen AMCHAM Myanmar Board and members. Participants had an active conservation on various topics including Myanmar�s recent exit from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG) process, the 311 finding in the Patriot Act, remaining sanctions, and the Burma�s Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) regime.
