On October 17, 2014, James Shea, Economic Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Rangoon, updated AMCHAM members on the recently-issued Burma - U.S. Joint Statement on Promoting Labor Rights. The meeting continued with Eric Rose, Lead Director of HRMR Law Firm, giving an update on recent developments of the Myanmar Labor Legislation and Child Labor Conventions.
