On December 1, AMCHAM Myanmar and the Australia-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce hosted the second briefing on the U.S. Burma Sanctions titled ' Goodbye Burma Sanctions? Welcome GSP! An American Update' given by Eric Rose, Lead Director of the HRMR Law Firm at the Sule Shangri-La Hotel. The seminar, which was attended by more than sixty participants, provided an in-depth legal analysis of the remaining U.S. sanctions against Myanmar and an overview of the U.S. GSP program for Myanmar. There was an update from the U.S. Embassy and followed by a Q&A section.
