Friendship Dinner with UMFCCI President U Zaw Win Min

On January 18, several members of AMCHAM Myanmar's Executive Committe and UMFCCI key members had a leadership meeting and training at the UMFCCI office. The meeting was attended by more than forty participants, including UMFCCI's president, U Zaw Win Min and other UMFCCI leaders. The briefing covered important topics such as the U.S. Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), the remaining U.S. sanctions, Specially Designated Nationals (SDNs), overview on corporate ethics, governance, compliance, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), intellectual property and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Participants expressed an interest to commence regular meetings between the two groups, perhaps at every two month intervals.
