On September 29, the AMCHAM Myanmar in collaboration with the Australian-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce hosted ' The End of the U.S. Burma Sanctions: Challenges and Opportunities' briefing at Sule Shangri-La Hotel. On September 29, the American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM Myanmar) in collaboration with the Australian-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (A-MCC) hosted The End of the U.S. Burma Sanctions: Challenges and Opportunities briefing at Sule Shangri-La Hotel. The presentation was given by Eric Rose, Lead Director of HRMR Law Firm. The briefing was attended by more than 170 participants, including representatives of foreign chambers, embassies and the YANGON business community. A copy of the PowerPoint presentation has been posted on AMCHAM website (www.amchammyanmar.com). At the request of the participants, we have announced that we will host a second presentation on this topic once the U.S. Government adopts the announced changes by the end of the year. The meeting was followed by a networking event where participants enjoyed mingling and refreshments.
