Assessing the Impacts of COVID-19 on Myanmar's Economy

On October 7, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted a special briefing with the research experts from the International Food Policy Research Program (IFPRI) on assessing the impacts of COVID-19 on Myanmar�s economy. Thank you to our excellent speaker Dr. Xinshen Diao, Deputy Division Director and Senior Research Fellow, Development Strategy and Governance Division, for providing a rich briefing on how COVID-19 has impacted the country�s GDP during the first wave, for providing key data points for businesses in dealing with the current second wave, and for offering insight into the economy�s recovery under different scenarios.
