AMCHAM MYANMAR RECOGNIZED COCA COLA MYANMAR AS ONE OF ITS TWO “SPIRIT OF AMERICAN COMMERCE” AWARDEES
On October 25th, AMCHAM Myanmar recognized its two “Spirit of American Commerce” Awardees as the top performing members of AMCHAM Myanmar’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Excellence Awards (ACE) Recognition Program.
Coca Cola Myanmar was the first member to donate to the AMCHAM Myanmar Social Impact Donation (SID) Fund. Yet, Coca Cola’s commitment to social impact goes beyond just donations, their in-house robust CSR program is dedicated to making positive impact through Sustainability Targets focused on Climate, Packaging, Society, Drinks, Water, and Supply Chain. Their Tan Bo Shi Tal Campaign raised public awareness on waste segregation and recycling this year after they have partnered with Coca Cola retail outlets in Yangon and Mandalay as pilot last year. In Magway Region, Coca Cola implemented an Integrated Water Management Program that improved water access for irrigation, drinking and household usage.
