AMCHAM MYANMAR BOARD OF GOVERNORS APPOINTS MR. DANNY KYAW AS THE NEXT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board of Governors of AMCHAM Myanmar is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Danny Kyaw who will be joining the Chamber as the new Executive Director with effect from April 20, 2023.

Danny joins the Chamber from PwC in Myanmar where he has most recently led multiple international development projects in various sectors to prepare the market for adoption of international standards.

He previously worked at Australian Embassy in Yangon’s Australian Trade & Investment Commission (Austrade) promoting the development of trade and commerce between Myanmar and Australia across all sectors. He has also organized a variety of high-level delegations, trade missions, and seminars to advance opportunities for foreign business in Myanmar.

He graduated from Curtin University (Australia) with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

As Executive Director, he will be overseeing all Chamber operations and will implement high-quality, strategic benefits for all members of the Chamber. Danny is based in Yangon full-time.
