AMCHAM MYANMAR ANNOUNCES ELECTIONS FOR THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS AND THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Dear members,
On behalf of the Board of Governors of AMCHAM Myanmar, I am pleased to announce that the Annual General Meeting of AMCHAM Myanmar will be held on Friday, January 28, 2021. Members who have paid up for 2022 can register for the business meeting here. The social event to be held at the conclusion of the AGM will be a separately-ticketed event.
The AGM is one of the most significant events of the year for AMCHAM Myanmar. We will be conducting our essential business meeting, presenting our accomplishments in 2021 and sharing our plans for 2022 with the membership.
We invite all members who renew their membership in 2022 to attend this important event and to exercise their right as corporate members of AMCHAM to vote on the slate of new Governors.
Per our Constitution, the AMCHAM Myanmar Board of Governors hereby appoints the 2022 Election Commission with the following members:
1. Chas Phillips, Senior Commercial Attache, U.S. Embassy Bangkok (Commission Chair)
2. Mike Leonard, Plant Manager, Ball Packaging Yangon
3. Girish Wadhwa, President, Mega Lifesciences
4. Tatum Albertine, Executive Director, AMCHAM Myanmar
We are also pleased announce that nominations are sought for eleven (11) open seats to serve on the Board of Governors.
It is an honor to serve on the Board of AMCHAM and contribute towards the growth of American business in Myanmar. The Board sets the direction of the future of AMCHAM Myanmar and the core responsibilities of the Governors are to set the strategic direction, provide oversight and actively participate in policy development for the Chamber.

Nominations may be made in writing by any member and must be signed by a proposer and a seconder, both of whom must be AMCHAM Myanmar members in good standing.
Nominees are responsible for collecting the necessary signatures and endorsements.
