AMCHAM MYANMAR ANNOUNCES ELECTIONS FOR THE 2023-2024 BOARD OF GOVERNORS
March 13, 2023 -- We are delighted to announce our 2023-2024 Election Commission and that we will have (5) seats on the AMCHAM Board of Governors open for the 2023-2024 membership year.
Our newest Governors will be elected and announced at our upcoming Annual General Meeting on April 27, 2023 at the Pan Pacific Yangon.
The AGM is one of the most significant events of the year for AMCHAM Myanmar. We will be conducting our essential business meeting, presenting our accomplishments from 2022, and sharing our vision for 2023.
We invite all members who renew their membership in 2023 to attend this important event and to exercise their right as corporate members of AMCHAM to vote on the slate of new Governors.
Per our Constitution and Bylaws, the AMCHAM Myanmar Board of Governors hereby appoints and announces the 2023-2024 Election Commission with the following members:
1.U Khin Maung Win, Chairman, MSP CAT
2. Chee Seng Liew, CB Bank
3. Kevin Murphy, Andaman Capital Partners
4. Tatum Albertine, Executive Director, AMCHAM Myanmar
We are also pleased announce that nominations are sought for five (5) open seats to serve on the Board of Governors.
It is an honor to serve on the Board of AMCHAM. The Board sets the direction of the future of AMCHAM Myanmar and the core responsibilities of the Governors are to set the strategic direction of AMCHAM Myanmar.

Nominations may be made in writing by any member and must be signed by a proposer and a seconder, both of whom must be AMCHAM Myanmar members in good standing. Nominees are responsible for collecting the necessary signatures and endorsements.

Deadline to submit nominations is April 3, 2023 at 4:00 pm Myanmar Time.
All members are invited to attend our hybrid Annual General Meeting and the Celebration Luncheon (two different ticketed events) by registering on our website.
The in-person Celebration Luncheon will immediately follow the Hybrid AGM business meeting.
