AMCHAM Meet with the Former U.S. Ambassador

On February 28, representatives of AMCHAM Myanmar and the US-ASEAN Business Council had a breakfast meeting with the former U.S. Ambassador to Myanmar Derek Mitchell at the Novotel Hotel Yangon. Participants had a chance to welcome back the former Ambassador who was in Myanmar as part of a U.S. Institute of Peace delegation and share their insights and experiences on the current Myanmar economics and politics. Ambassador Mitchell shared his reflections on the trip and the U.S. policy outlook on Myanmar and highlighted the importance of the Myanmar government�s deeper attention to the country�s economic policy and growth.
