AMCHAM & foreign chambers meet with NLD Bill Committee Chair

On February 8, representatives of AMCHAM Myanmar, and six foreign chambers of commerce (German Chamber, Australian Chamber, EuroChamber, British Chamber, AustCham and French Chamber), welcomed U Tun Tun Hein, chair of the Hluttaw Bill Committee, and U Kyaw Hoe, Chief Counsel of National League for Democracy (NLD), to a dinner at the Sule Shangri-la Hotel to discuss their comments and concerns regarding the draft Law Concerning Foreigners. The discussion lasted over two hours.
AMCHAM Myanmar conducts advocacy, on behalf of its members, to both the Myanmar and the U.S. governments, as necessary.
