2018 First Semester Scholarship Award Presentation

On May 10, AMCHAM Myanmar CSR & Scholarship Committee awarded twenty-eight local students who are pursuing undergraduate degrees at Yangon University and Yangon Institute of Economics. The meeting was hosted in Yangon University�s Science Building. This special ceremony was presided over by the Chamber�s President Rehan Khan, Vice President Mark Hardcastle, Scholarship Committee Co-chair Dan Davis, and several professors of Yangon University. We thank Rehan Khan, the Chamber President and Dan Davis, Scholarship Committee Co-chair who delivered words of encouragement to the students. The program also included ice-breaking games and stories sharing by the students on how the AMCHAM Scholarship Program helps them in their studies. AMCHAM CSR & Scholarship Committee has been funding underprivileged students since 2014. The committee also arranges various activities from factory visits, internship program, computer training to speaker talks.
