SIPA Partners is a Tokyo-based risk and reputation management consultancy that helps clients mitigate risks, enhance their reputation, and engage with stakeholders. The firm was established in January 2021 and specializes in Japan and Southeast Asia.
SIPA Partners’s Founder and Principal, Romain Caillaud, is a French national with more than a decade of risk and reputation management consulting experience in Asia. Romain is currently based in Tokyo and was prior in Singapore and Myanmar. Romain is an associate fellow in the Myanmar Studies Programme at Singapore’s think tank, ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute. Romain also is a member of the Japan Committee of the Temple University Law School Compliance Advisory Board.  
SIPA Partners's Advisor, Kei Sakaguchi, has four decades of experience as a corporate communications, external affairs and business development executive and advisor, having worked in-house at Sony Corporation and The Coca-Cola Company, as well as at specialized consultancies. Sakaguchi-san most recently served as Japan Country Representative for Eurasia Group, the leading global political risk consultancy whose Tokyo office he established.
