Quasar was established in 2013 to pursue energy infrastructure opportunities in Myanmar. We are currently focused on development of grid scale power plants backed by long term power sales. Our development portfolio include both renewable (solar) as well as traditional fossil (oil and gas fired) power plants.  Quasar was founded by experienced energy professionals with extensive experience in key areas of engineering, finance, and operation which are critical in deriving enterprise value. Our management team comprised of former executives from multinational energy conglomerates such as Suez/Engie/Tractebel, GE Capital, Williams, BG Group, NextEra, and Macquarie Bank.
