Job Description

Key Area

  • Conduct preventive maintenance according to the defined schedule
  • Ensure the use of cost-effective, high-quality products for maintenance
  • Reduce overall maintenance expenses
  • Minimize unnecessary overtime work

Other Area

  • Oversee all vehicle repair, maintenance, and recovery activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely execution.
  • Ensure vehicle repairs are cost-effective and completed promptly while identifying the root causes of vehicle issues to prevent recurring failures.
  • Establish and implement a vehicle preventative maintenance program.
  • Train maintenance staff to deliver high-quality service at the company’s workshop.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections using a standard checklist and carry out maintenance according to SOP guidelines.
  • Ensure the maintenance department has the necessary equipment and tools available at all times.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for spare parts and tools.
  • Manage the maintenance team to provide repair services whenever necessary, including after office hours.
  • Collaborate with external workshops (service centers) to ensure cost-effective and timely services for major repairs.
  • Verify the authenticity of spare parts and ensure reasonable pricing for repairs.
  • Lead the team in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing immediate responses to vehicle issues at any time.
  • Comply with ISO guidelines and the company’s Quality Management System standards.
  • Ensure adherence to current working procedures and SOP compliance.
  • Train and supervise vehicle maintenance department staff, ensuring they possess adequate knowledge of SOPs and processes to meet quality requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineer / A.G.T.I / Any relevant graduate, with strong experience in automotive mechanics
  • Minimum of three years of working experience in a related field
  • At least two years of experience as an Auto Mechanic Manager
  • Proficient in computer skills (MS Office Suite) with Myanmar typing ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated managerial skills
  • Extensive driving experience
  • Expertise in repair services
  • Reliable, responsible, accountable, and committed to the role
