Job Description

  • Works with the management team to establish and implement the Marketing plan and strategic goals to achieve the total company revenue targets, profit targets, overall development of the business.
  • To promote sales of prescription drugs direct to hospital, clinics & pharmacies to meet sales target monthly & annually.  
  • To achieve the objectives and strategies set by Corporate and ensure achievement of business growth, retention & profitability levels for all existing and prospective elements of the Pacific AAs’ Customer Segment. 
  • To be responsible for designing, developing and implementing of the sale new product strategies for growth of the business.
  • Take care of effectively managing budgets ensuring an appropriate return on investment
  • To developing and implementing quarterly marketing plans to meet the monthly & annual sales target for various drugs.
  • Developing the Sales and Marketing Plan for each of these targeted products.

  • Develop and implement initiatives which enhance the market expansion to our customers, achieving sales targets and strategic sales planning.
  • To be responsible for excellent customer relationship include the maintain and build a strong relationship with customer (doctors both new and existing), analyses existing customers and new customers to determine sales opportunities, identify and liaise/visit key customers (Doctors), specialist, big customers to ensure sales growth.
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of new products to corporate customers to maximize revenue opportunities, increase sales growth by expending marketing and sales value.
  • Can articulate and negotiate value propositions and differentiate against competitive offerings
  • To monitor & counter the competitor activities.
  • Monitor stock level & prepare forecast for the future sales.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets and revenue targets, profit target by using strategic market plans.
  • Establishes and communicates high performance standards, defines clear accountability, and leads by adopting improvement increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Establish excellent working relationships with national sales teams & OTC marketing teams, operation teams to facilitate best marketing concepts and strategies
  • Provide accurate forecasts of sales opportunities and resource requirements to ensure the business success by constantly monitoring and commanding for all division head.
  • Train head of departments / managers and Marketing team to stick to the result-oriented culture and to possess can-do attitude while solving problems and general activities and performance of marketing team.
  • Manage all Marketing team through effective leadership
  • Enforce adherence to legal and ethical guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality, business ethics, and codes of conduct of the company
  • Other responsibilities shall be assigned by Managing Director or Deputy Managing Director time to time.

Job Requirement

  • Medical or Medical Related Degree Holder or bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing) If MBA holder, it is the competitive advantage
  • 8-10 years of experience in running and developing cost-effective marketing initiatives in Pharmaceuticals Industry as a Head of Department
  • Good Relationship and endorsement with KOLs & Clients and Principals.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy & best practices with practical experiences
  • Demonstrated expertise and successful track record in leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment; Experience in successful partnership with key cross functional groups including R&D, BD, Finance, ethical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, etc. is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application and able to perform data analysis work in excel
  • Fluency in both Myanmar and English languages
