AMCHAM members are cordially invited to participate in
an upcoming roundtable discussion with the World Bank on Wednesday, January 30
at 11 am in the AMCHAM office.Representatives
from the World Bank will provide an overview of their work in Myanmar, as well
as introduce their Rakhine Recovery and Development Project currently being
developed. They are also interested to learn about AMCHAM member companies’
past, present, and future business activities and CSR initiatives in Myanmar.
This roundtable discussion will focus on how the World Bank might work together
with companies on topics related to the Rakhine Recovery and Development
Project.Key
sectors for potential projects include agriculture and livestock, consumer
goods and retail, banking and financial services, and hotels and tourism.
However, all AMCHAM member companies are invited to attend and participate in
