The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) is responsible for developing and coordinating U.S. international trade, commodity, and direct investment policy, and overseeing negotiations with other countries. The head of USTR is the U.S. Trade Representative, a Cabinet member who serves as the presidents principal trade advisor, negotiator, and spokesperson on trade issues.A representative of USTR will be in Yangon at the end of March and is reaching out to AMCHAM members to identify companies who are currently importing (or have an active on-going importation relationship) into Myanmar from the U.S.USTR are interested in hearing about issues, problems and success stories,etc., Please contact Clara to express interest.
