The AMCHAM CSR Committee is presenting a series of panel discussions to share CSR best practices with involvement from the 2017 AMCHAM CSR Excellence (ACE) Recognition recipients. The panelists will share practical examples of actual CSR programs in Myanmar and each session will address a specific CSR challenge that companies might encounter. Each discussion will also feature a QA session where the audience can ask their CSR questions and find out how to apply these best practices to their own CSR initiatives.
Session 1: CSR Creating Shared Value
The July panel discussion will address the question of
Creating Shared Value. Shared value involves joint solutions that benefit the business
and simultaneously generate opportunities and value for the community, thereby
supporting economic growth and the overall Myanmar workforce. Several 2017 ACE
recipients will share examples of how they designed CSR programs that leverage
their core business and expertise as a company to make a lasting impact in the
communities where they operate.
