In April, the AMCHAM Myanmar Chapter
raised $15,000 of scholarship funds through the Chevron sponsored ChariTee Golf
Tournament. Now, we are in the process of finalizing the details of the
Scholarship Program and planning its execution.
AMCHAM Myanmar Chapter members who wish to be contribute to the planning and
execution of this Scholarship Program, please attend the meeting scheduled on
August 25.
We are also forming a Scholarship Committee to select, monitor, and mentor the
students. If you are unable to attend this meeting but would like to be a part
of the Scholarship Committee, please inform Arkar Kyaw at
arkar@amchammyanmar.com.

About the AMCHAM Myanmar Chapter Scholarship Program
Recognizing the importance of education in improving the future of the children
of Myanmar and the country itself, the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM)
Myanmar Chapter has initiated the AMCHAM Myanmar Chapter Scholarship Program to
provide undergraduate students—pursuing business-related disciplines—with
financial support for their academic endeavors. Through this program, AMCHAM
Myanmar aims to create a more capable workforce, which will in turn give back
to the society in Myanmar.
