The Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) has been a driving force in facilitating investment in Myanmar. U Aung Naing Oo was in military service from 1981 to 2000. He was appointed Deputy General Manager of the Myanmar Agricultural Produce Trading under the Ministry of Commerce from 2000 to 2005. In 2005, he was promoted as a General Manger of the Export Department of the Myanmar Agricultural Produce Trading. In 2006, he was appointed Principal Officer (Deputy Director General) at the Minister’s Office of the Ministry of Commerce and latter in 2010, he served as a Deputy Director General of the Department of Border Trade under the Ministry of Commerce.
