AMCHAM Myanmar members are invited to attend the second Indo Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) in Bangkok on November 4th.The IPBF aims to promote trade and investment opportunities as well as economic cooperation to fulfill the development needs and potential of the Indo-Pacific. The event will involve in-depth discussions among business leaders on pertinent challenges to growth in the digital economy, energy sector, and infrastructure development, as well as how cooperation between private, public, and international institutions could help countries overcome these challenges and attain sustainable development.Confirmed speakers from the U.S. Government include:  - Wilbur Ross, Secretary of Commerce - Thomas Hardy, Acting Director, U.S. Trade and Development Agency - David Bohigian, Acting President, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation - Keith Krach, Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment - Bonnie Glick, Deputy Administrator, U.S. Agency for International DevelopmentThe event will feature many key representatives from both the public and private sectors, including the opportunity to interact with the leaders of over 15 AMCHAMs in the region.
