idea is for the AMCHAM HR Committee to offer assistance to this University in
introducing CSR concepts, human rights, employee contracts, etc. in their
curriculum, and offer to have American HR specialists as guest speakers.
3) Proposal for adoption of recommended HR practices for AMCHAM members -
Formation of exploratory committee
The Myanmar Ministry of Labour has adopted recommended practices for employers
willing to use a sample employment contract with their respective
employees.
4) Keynote address: Steven Marshall - Int'l Labor Organization Myanmar
Representative
Steven Marshall has agreed to participate and will give an off-the-record,
informal remarks concerning the progress which Myanmar has achieved in recent
months through the adoption of several pieces of legislation, as well as new
labor policies.
