She connects people to resources and translates vision and strategy into operations. Tatum serves as the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, where she helps U.S.-based organizations to connect with valuable opportunities in Myanmar and advocates on behalf of AMCHAM members to promote economic prosperity for communities within Myanmar and the U.S. She oversees the operational and programmatic aspects of AMCHAM. Her background as a professional researcher with the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and the Access to Knowledge for Development Center at The American University in Cairo has enabled her to excel at navigating and managing governmental affairs and policy advocacy work. She also worked for the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Myanmar, and at the Smithsonian Institution after graduating  cum laude  from Mount Holyoke College with her B.A. in Gender Studies and Philosophy. She is a U.S. citizen based in Yangon full-time.Peter CrowhurstPeter Crowhurst is the Chief Executive Officer of the British Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, appointed by the Board of Directors to the role in December 2018. Peter has a wealth of experience, having spent the past thirty years working in Asian Markets. Initially Peter worked in Hospitality at General Manager Level, in Hong Kong and China, but moved on into Real Estate, becoming an Asset and Investment Manager with ING. In this role he supported real estate development and investment projects in China and Taiwan. During his time in with ING and latterly CBRE Global Investors, Peter was responsible for portfolios in Taiwan and Singapore, with assets in excess of USD 650 Million. Peter’s relocation to Myanmar was orchestrated through Yoma Strategic Holdings, whom he joined in 2013 when based in Singapore. Peter moved to Myanmar full time in 2014 as Head of Real Estate Asset Management at Yoma Strategic. While at the Chamber Peter aims to support British business, together with the UK Government Department of International Trade, bringing investment and trade opportunities to Myanmar. Peter will also focus on developing initiatives, alongside the Chamber team, for bi lateral trade from Myanmar to the United Kingdom. One of the top objectives of such initiatives is job creation and benefits for Myanmar citizens. Peter was part of the founding team that established the British Chamber of Commerce and has served on the board for the last five years since its inception.Thiri Thant MonThiri Thant Mon is the Managing Partner of Pegu Partners, a capital and strategy advisory firm focused on Myanmar. She also serves as the CEO of the Myanmar Institute of Directors and runs City Invest, an investment platform in conjunction with City Holdings. She has over 20 years of experience in the US, UK and Myanmar, including as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley in London and the member of the executive leadership team at Yoma Strategic Holdings in Myanmar. She is a board member of Dawn Microfinance Myanmar and a trustee for Turquoise Mountain Foundation, Yangon Heritage Trust and Doh Eain. She holds a BA in Economics from William & Mary and an MBA from the London Business School.Gretchen KunzeGretchen Kunze is the Executive Director of the US ICT Council for Myanmar, a Yangon-based industry association made up of the world’s leading technology companies. The Council’s mission is to serve as a bridge between its members and Myanmar, and to support Myanmar’s digital development goals by delivering capacity-building and training programs, providing technology solutions and recommendations, and assisting with policy development. Gretchen has more than 20 years of professional international development experience focused on good governance and democracy building in Asia, and has lived and worked in Yangon for over four years.Mok Shen YangShen Yang is Regional Director at Enterprise Singapore (ESG), a statutory board under Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry to work with Singapore companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. Shen Yang is based in ESG's Yangon Overseas Centre to assist Singapore companies with market entry and expansion into Myanmar. Prior to her posting to Yangon, Shen Yang was with ESG's Infrastructure Services division and worked with real estate developers and hotels for initiatives to encourage the adoption of technology solutions in their properties both in Singapore and abroad. Shen Yang holds a B.A. (Hon) in International Relations from the University of Nottingham, and a M.A. in International Relations from Waseda University.Mike Phone MyintMike Phone Myint joined BIM Group as Group Executive Director and currently leads BIM Consulting and BIM Cybersecurity as Managing Director. He was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Myanmar and led Digital Trust and Transformation Assurance Business Units within the firm as the Chief Digital Officer. He is a Myanmar repatriate and a seasoned technology executive with over 17 years of experience in digital and cybersecurity strategy, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), cybersecurity policies and implementations, telecommunications and internet service providers, banking and financial services as well as extensive project management and implementation both locally and internationally. As a certified Board Director with Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD) he advises various businesses with Digital Technology Roadmap and Strategy, His primary focus is to help public and private enterprises to emerge through the digital transformation initiatives while ensuring the potential risks are properly managed. He serves as Honorary Treasurer for British Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar and co-founded and currently serving as Honorary Secretary for Myanmar Information Security Association (MISA). Mike holds various Corporate Governance, Information Security and Risk Management certifications from ISACA and ISC2 which includes CGEIT, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP and PMP. Mike received Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from University of Computer Studies, Yangon (UCSY). Mike also obtained Executive Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from HBX | Harvard Business School, Executive Certificate in Business Strategy and Financial Performance from INSEAD and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Programme from PwC’s Academy.
