A top leader in Myanmar’s growing consumer research, media studies, and retail audit/measurement fields with over 20 years of on-the-ground experience, he currently serves as the Secretary General for Myanmar Retailers Association (MMRA) and Myanmar Economic Association (MEA), and a founding member of Professional Marketers Association (PMA). Bernadette Verde is the Consumer Insights Lead for Nielsen MMRD. A seasoned market researcher with over 15 years of experience, she has worked with a wide array of multinational and local companies in diverse industries providing relevant and insightful consumer information for long-term commercial success. She has an extensive exposure in the region having lived and worked in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and now Myanmar. Alexandra More San Joaquin is the Media Research (Watch) Lead for Nielsen MMRD. Before moving to Myanmar in 2015, she spent over 8 years honing her media research and leadership skills in Nielsen Philippines, leading a core team of associates to work with various broadcasters, media agencies and media stakeholders in maximizing analyses of TV Audience Measurement, Advertising Information Services, Radio Audience Measurement and other syndicated audience studies. Concurrently, she served as A lecturer in the Philippines' premier state university, fueling her passion for training and continuous learning.
