AMCHAM will host the U.S.-China Economic and Security Commission who are interested in meeting with U.S. companies to learn more about: China's trade and investment relationship with Myanmar; China's role in trade, infrastructure projects, construction, and light manufacturing; China-Myanmar cooperation in the context of ASEAN; and changing patterns of regional trade and investment.The Commission's purpose is to monitor, investigate, and submit to Congress an annual report on the national security implications of the bilateral trade an economic relationship between the US and China, and to provide recommendations, where appropriate, to Congress for legislative and administrative action.
