Following the successful financial services trade mission organized by AMCHAM Myanmar with the cooperation of the U.S. government, AMCHAM Myanmar is offering a financial services forum on August 24 at the Sule Shangri-la.This forum is targeting Myanmar SMEs and start-ups, and offers both a hands-on seminar on how to secure financing, what sources are available today, and what does a business have to do to enhance its opportunity to qualify for financing, as well as an opportunity to meet and hear from a number of leading banks, domestic and foreign, microfinance companies, and non-traditional financial institutions.For the first time in Myanmar, participants will hear short presentations from financial institutions which are interested in discussing loan and investment proposals. This is a unique opportunity, both for SMEs and the financial institutions, to use the forum and open new venues of financial cooperation.
