AMCHAM Myanmar members are encouraged to participate in the Chamber’s third
Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, January 30.The
AGM is one of the most important events of the year, bringing members together for
a review and celebration of the past year’s achievements and voting on
important decisions which will shape the next year ahead.Date
and Time:
Thursday, January 30, 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm (**note new time)
Venue: Pan Pacific Yangon, Ruby & Jade meeting room (R Level)
Cost: No cost to attend. (This event is open for members only)
Booking deadline: Tuesday, January 28The
business to be conducted at the AGM includes presentation of annual reports,
election to fill vacant seats on the Board of Governors, and voting on
resolutions. Further details regarding the resolutions will be announced
soon. This
is one of the key opportunities for members to provide their input and feedback
to the Chamber. We look forward to your participation and input at this
meeting.Voting
Guidelines:
• Only the designate or alternate representative of a corporate member company,
whose dues for the membership year of 2020 have been paid, will be eligible for
voting.
• Overseas and NGO members are not eligible for voting but are welcome to
attend the meeting.
• Designates who are unable to attend the AGM may appoint a proxy to vote on
their behalf (click here to download the proxy form).
• Proxy forms must be delivered to the AMCHAM Myanmar office or emailed
to election@amchammyanmar.com at
least 48 hours prior to the AGM to be valid.
• Absentee ballots will not be accepted.
