As in previous years, AMCHAM will be arranging the
annual internship program for our scholarship students during their school
break. This year, the internship period will take place from October 28 to November 29.We
invite member companies to host one or more interns during this period to give
them a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional
working environment. Students in the AMCHAM Scholarship Program meet high
academic standards and have strong English language skills.In
order to match students with suitable companies, we will be arranging an
internship matching session on October 22. Companies will have a short
interview with each available student. After the session, companies and
students will indicate their top three choices and AMCHAM will try our best to
pair you with your first preference.Date and Time: Tuesday, October 22,
3 pm to 5:30 pm
Venue: Konbaung-Tagaung Room (Level-3), Sule
Shangri-La Hotel
Cost: No cost to attend. All member companies are
invited. Prior registration is required.

This event is now fully booked.About the internship program
This is an unpaid internship program. However, we request the host
companies to provide a transportation stipend of 100,000 Kyats per student.
Interns will commit to working the standard office hours of the host company,
unless agreed otherwise between the individual student and the company. We request
that the host companies provide the interns an opportunity to participate in
meaningful work as often as possible, not just assign them with menial tasks.
