Freedom 250: Combating Digital Fraud in Myanmar

The festival supports Freedom 250 by promoting digital literacy, critical thinking, and responsible online engagement as core pillars of democratic resilience and informed citizenship. 

The program aims to transform passive media consumers into critical thinkers and ethical digital citizens who can recognize misinformation, resist manipulation, and safely navigate the digital environment, including online scams and fraud. 

The festival will explicitly align with Freedom 250 by positioning digital literacy and online safety as essential elements of democratic participation, and by highlighting how informed, skeptical media consumption helps citizens resist propaganda, scams, and manipulation.
