Shwe Sin Hein

Shwe Sin Hein is a Myanmar National and a business professional with extensive experience in the financial industry. Currently, she is the Country Business Development Manager for Mastercard Myanmar, where she collaborates with key stakeholders to offer innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses in the country. Her passion lies in advancing the benefits of digital payments and financial inclusion for the people of Myanmar.
Before joining Mastercard, Shwe Sin worked for KBZ Bank from 2017 to 2022, where she held several management positions. In her last role as the Value Center General Manager, she led and executed business plans to structure innovative financial solutions to deepen account adoption and reach more customers at a lower cost. Additionally, she collaborated with the finance function to develop measurable performance metrics for the Value Center and track performance against them to ensure fiscal control, profitability, and financial feasibility.
Shwe Sin was also concurrently a Project Leader for the Blue Mesh Banking Project being responsible for leading CEO-initiated projects and orchestrating a team of senior and mid-level management individuals to brainstorm and exchange strategies. She also worked to implement new initiatives at branches by digitizing standard operating procedures, upskilling staffs, and providing empathetic communication as the key enabler of change management.
Before joining KBZ Bank, Shwe Sin worked for Yoma Bank from 2014 to 2016 as a Senior Associate/Lead Contributor in the Financial Institutions Department.
Shwe Sin graduated with Industrial Engineering Management Degree from Elizabethtown College, PA.
