Lin Thandar Aung

Lin is an Entrepreneur and Business Executive dedicated to empowering individuals for professional success. Over the past three years, Lin have held key roles in Pepsi Myanmar (Lotte MGS Beverage Co., Ltd), culminating appointment as the Director of Commercial & Operations in early 2023 and promoted as a CEO in November 2023. Her expertise encompasses YoY revenue growth, strategic development, change management, restructuring, nationwide business expansion, guiding organizations through transformative journeys, and P&L oversight.

Lin, having experienced diverse cultures and an unconventional background through studying and working in Myanmar, UK, Ireland, and Malaysia, developed a unique perspective. After high school, Lin got into programming, securing a role in a successful local software company. While writing programs for banking and retail clients, her interest in accounting grew. Combining technical expertise with a precise and organized nature, Lin transitioned to become an accountant and problem solver. Progressing from CAT to ACCA, Lin's strong work ethic facilitated the accumulation of relevant work experience.

In 2005, Lin began her international career as an Account Manager at QucomHaps in Dublin, Ireland, focusing on robust accounting processes and consolidating Financial Statements across multiple countries. Transitioning to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I served as Operations Manager at QucomHaps from 2008 to 2011, overseeing diverse projects with a $2 million budget. Taking charge of internal control in on ground operations, Lin started to take more serious interest in Operational management and took a role as an Operations Manager at a later stage.

Moving to Singapore in 2011, as an Account Manager at Squared Financial, she established a Forex trading company, securing regulatory approval and managing Annual Return filings. Returning to Kuala Lumpur in 2012, she became an Account Manager at CXC Global, overseeing talent management and reorganizing 37 projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
 
After going through a professional journey that reflects diverse roles, international exposure, and a commitment to excellence in financial management and strategic operations, Lin moved back home in late 2013. She led comprehensive project management for Myanmar power station development, overseeing all facets, including managing a $5 million budget. Proficient in financial management and strategic resource allocation. Navigated complex stakeholder interactions with government departments, ensuring smooth project progression and compliance. Crucially, performed financial planning and modeling, ensuring project viability and attracting funding. Beyond traditional project management, played a vital role in driving success, contributing to Myanmar's energy landscape.
