Kevin Murphy is the Managing Director of Andaman Capital Partners, which provides investment advisory and project execution services to local businesses and foreign investors, in addition to directly investing in Myanmar companies. Andaman Capital Partners has extensive advisory and project management experience in Myanmar’s energy, finance and impact investment sectors. He been based in Myanmar since 2002. He has also served as a director at the Pacific Group Ltd, an independent licensed investment manager headquartered in Hong Kong, where since 1999 he has led various investments in early stage and special situation deals. In a previous career as a journalist and media executive, Mr Murphy held senior positions at the International Herald Tribune, and the South China Morning Post. He graduated in 1983 from Georgetown University, where he was a Baker Scholar.
