Adam Castillo

Adam Castillo is the Managing Director and Partner of ATALIAN Global Services, Myanmar’s leading security risk management company. Adam employs over 1100 Myanmar nationals guarding western and international clients’ facilities across Myanmar.   

In 2010, Adam joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC) as a commissioned officer. After completing his active-duty requirement which included a combat deployment to Afghanistan. 

In 2012, Adam began visiting Myanmar at the end of 2013 and became the founder of a security company with two other American entrepreneurs. 

In 2016, Adam successfully negotiated a partnership with a multinational facility services company, ATALIAN Global Services. He then rebranded his company ATALIAN Global Services Myanmar and began offering other service lines outside of security.  

Adam also has served on the American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar’s (AMCHAM) Board of Governors since 2020. In 2021, he served as Vice -President of the Board of Governors (AMCHAM) from 2021-2023. In 2021, he was also the winner of the Rising Star of the Year Award category at the 2020 APAC Chamber of Commerce Awards. He was selected by White Page International for their 100 Inspirational Leaders of Asia award in 2022 as well by Asia One Media’s Top 40 Most Influential Young Leaders in Asia 2023. He also has served on the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) Steering Committee for the US Embassy Rangoon since 2018. 

Adam Castillo was born in California, USA. He did his undergraduate at the University of California, Riverside and later received graduate degrees from Norwich University with a Master of Arts in International Relations – Terrorism & Conflict and a Master of Business Administration in 2016.
